Science

At Hoover we use NGSS FOSS (Full Option Science System) science curriculum with the strong support of the district science department. FOSS is focused on inquiry-based learning, hands-on learning and active investigation, group work, engineering, and ELA integration. At Hoover our students have one hour of investigation each week, as well as bi-weekly half-hour gardening classes and art integration, as part of our commitment to STEAM education.
