School Site Council SSC
The School Site Council is an elected 8 member committee made up of 4 staff members and 4 parent/community members. Serving two-year terms, the council helps develop Hoover's academic and safety plan, and SPSA (site plan for student achievement). They are consulted on many decisions concerning the school's vision and planned activities. The council is also the sole decision maker on federal Title I funds and Title IV, which focuses on student achievement of our most at risk students.
The SSC meets monthly at 8:45 AM on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in the cafeteria. All meetings are open to the public, with the agenda posted several days before.
